Goal: to have a modern information technology system in order to enhance the capacity for development over a range of areas including the efficient provision of services to the public.

The primary measures are to be as follows:

1. Consistent work plans/projects and budgets will be developed for the development of information technology systems, computer systems, and telecommunication networks in all departments under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior as follows;
2. Data management will be organized to provide data standards, guidelines for storing data, and indicators for data which can be shared, as well as organizing data services and the dissemination of data.
3. Consistent computer systems and telecommunication networks will be set up, as well as consistent equipment and programs.
4. Executives at all levels will be designated to be jointly responsible for the development of information technology.
