Objectives

  1. To develop an information database necessary for making decisions, judgements and issuing instructions and to be used for planning and joint-cooperation efforts between government agencies.
  2. To a install computerized system that links and more effectively transfers via database, memos, news and performance reports between high-ranking officers of Central, Provincial, District and Local Administration Offices nationwide.
  3. To develop a system that can be utilized for information exchange between Thailand and countries around the world by the Department of Local Administration, as well as to keep pace with rapid social development during this period of globalization.   4. To encourage the potential development of District Offices as Centers for Cooperation and Information Database Services where information databases can be accessed and utilized by all divisions of District Offices.
  5. To organize a primary system for the development of information databases for the National Administration for Management Information System (NAMIS).

  1. To develop and utilize an Administrative Operation System as follows.

    6. News and classified information for national security.
    7. Information regarding Population Statistics and Local Administration (DOLA MODEL).

    9. Personnel Administration.
    10. Information searching on the Internet.

  2. To constantly improve and update the Management Information System.
  3. To constantly administer and maintain the system in Central, Regional, District and Local Administrative levels, for greater effectiveness.
  4. To organize seminars and MIS training courses for High-ranking Officers and Executive Secretaries of Central, Provincial, District and Local Administrations.
  5. To organize job performance evaluation and development by Central, Regional and Provincial Administrations.
  6. To coordinate with divisions under the Department of Local Administration in the development and improvement of the MIS to accommodate needs for the development and transformation of organizations.
  7. To provide a DOLA Web Site by way of the Internet at Central and Regional Administrations in 9 locations.
  8. MIS system installation project to link with the GIS system for greater effectiveness and to accommodate administration work.
  9. MIS Database Exchange Program between the Department of Local Administration and other government agencies.
